Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) are experiential, ground-based and mounted interactions with horses designed to support emotional wellness, leadership development, personal growth, and therapeutic outcomes. Unlike traditional talk-based models, EAS integrates the horse as an active partner in the learning process, creating immediate, honest feedback that helps participants build self-awareness, emotional regulation, communication skills, and confidence.
At PHX Hills, Equine-Assisted Services are trauma-informed, safety-centered, and intentionally structured. Sessions may include guided groundwork, observation exercises, team-based challenges, and limited riding experiences when appropriate. Each interaction is facilitated by trained professionals and designed to meet individuals where they are whether seeking personal development, stress reduction, youth mentorship, or wellness support.
Through connection, reflection, and experiential learning, participants gain insight that extends far beyond the arena—strengthening resilience, leadership capacity, and overall well-being.
